Our trip to Detroit was a 10/10. We were in the building for Black Tech Saturday, sponsored by Rocket Mortgage, where the creative team shared powerful sessions on brand building and development for both career professionals and business owners.

Speaking at Detroit School for Digital Technology
While in town, I had the honor of speaking to a class at Detroit School for Digital Technology College. I shared how my journey into tech and the transition that I experience founding and growing Beyond Normal Media. Hopefully, that talk sparked something for the next wave of tech-savvy entrepreneurs.
Gaston Business Association Small Business Expo 💼
On May 7th, Beyond Normal Media was a media vendor at the Gaston Business Association’s Small Business Expo right in our home market. We connected with local businesses and got valuable feedback on what kind of setup—swag, banners, gear—will help us stand out and serve better at future expos. One takeaway from this expo is that business cards are still a thing. We use Popl as our digital business card to track.
